Overview
The online Cloud and Cybersecurity Foundations Microcertificate introduces the core principles and practices used to secure modern networks and cloud-based systems. You’ll explore how security is applied across infrastructure and environments to protect digital assets. Through this two-course graduate credential, you’ll build a strong technical foundation in core security principles, network and cloud security, and defensive strategies.
This microcertificate is part of the optional Computer Science Certificate and Degree Pathway.

Starting and Completing a Microcertificate
To begin your microcertificate, you simply register for your first course for the microcertificate — no application required. Learn how to register.
To earn your microcertificate:
- Complete the two courses for graduate credit.
- Earn at least a B grade in each course.
- Complete the courses within two years.
