HESA
The Harvard Extension Student Association (HESA) is the elected representative body for all Harvard Extension School students. HESA works to articulate, promote, and provide a forum for the student community to meet and pursue their diverse interests. HESA hosts events on campus and online and represents the student voice to the administration.
HES Creative Writing & Literature Student Club
The mission of the Creative Writing & Literature Student Club (CWLSC) is to promote professional development, support, and networking opportunities for extension school students in the fields of creative writing and literature. CWLSC welcomes students from other HES fields of study who want to learn more and contribute towards our goal of fostering the Harvard Extension School writing community and offering support to enhance the craft. Our creative writing and literature club connects Harvard Extension School creative writers with professionals in the field, while also providing them with the knowledge to achieve success. The writing community is powerful, and we aim to organize activities that benefit students on their writing journey.
HES Industrial-Organizational Psychology Student Club
Our mission is to provide high-quality education to all who seek it and to promote professional development, support continued learning, and create opportunities for HES students in Industrial-Organizational Psychology, Management, and Business. We aim to connect individuals and improve their organizations by sharing multicultural business perspectives. Our values include people, integrity, community, connection, learning, and adaptability. Our student club welcomes all students, past, present, and future, and members of the general public who wish to improve the environment. We also welcome students from other fields of study who want to learn more and contribute to society.
HES Pre-Medical Student Club
The mission of the Harvard Extension School Premedical Student Club (HESPMSC) is to promote professional development and networking opportunities for premedical post-baccalaureate students in the fields of medicine, physician associate, dentistry, and veterinary. HESPMSC also welcomes students from other fields of study who want to learn more and contribute to the club. Harvard Extension School Premedical Student Club actively fosters Collaboration, Advancement, Networking, and Development Opportunities for our members.
HES Psychology Student Club
The Harvard Extension School Psychology Student Club (formerly known as the Harvard Extension School Psychology Student Society) is dedicated to fostering professional development, supporting networking opportunities, and promoting knowledge-sharing among students and individuals interested in psychology, neuropsychology, and neuroscience. The club also hopes to raise awareness about the importance of proper research methods and promote multidisciplinary research that leverages psychology as a resource for other fields of study. Ultimately, the Harvard Extension School Psychology Student Club seeks to enhance the recognition of the contributions made by psychology to research and to provide a supportive community for all those interested in the field.
HES Sustainability Student Club
The HES Sustainability Student Club (HES3C) unites Harvard Extension students passionate about environmental and sustainability issues. HES3C creates opportunities for the personal, academic, and professional development of its members through club socials, green exchanges, eco-tours, panel discussions, and various networking and volunteering events. The mission of HES3C is to raise environmental and sustainability awareness among Harvard and local communities and is open to all those with an interest in environmental and sustainability issues.
