Event Description

Are you considering pursuing a degree program at Harvard Extension School but aren’t quite sure how to begin? The Office of Pre-Degree Advising and Admissions hosted an information session to learn more about our enrollment pathways. We discussed our commitment to access, equity, and opportunity through open-enrollment courses and certificates, and our unique degree admissions process.

Takeaways

During the webinar, we discussed:

  • Open enrollment vs. “earn your way in” admission
  • Confirming your eligibility
  • Choosing predegree courses
  • When and how to submit your application

We also offered insider tips for a successful start — including how to benefit from the many coaching and advising resources available to you throughout your academic journey.

The Harvard Extension School Mission

Since our founding in 1910, Harvard Extension School’s mission has been to extend Harvard to the world — to adult learners who have the curiosity and drive to be challenged.

As one of 12 degree-granting institutions at Harvard University, we teach to the largest and most eclectic student body. Our students come to us from every time zone, every culture and professional background, every age from 18 to 89.
